About: A rare and exceptional design by Mt. Airy exclusively sold by John Stuart, NY. The Topaz cabinet is constructed from walnut with an Ebonized shell and wall door faces. The cabinet has a contoured face and sides set on a slightly flaring towards the back making. It is eye catching from every angle. The contoured handles are forged from acid washed brass. Circa 1960s.

Condition Details: This expertly-designed and crafted credenza has recently undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration and we love the results. The walnut frames have been ebonized in a silky, jet-black stain whilst preserving the walnut faces of the front doors in their original condition. Save for a few minor surface scratches and light nicks the wood is in overall fabulous shape showing no gouges, deep scratches or discoloration. All doors open and close with ease as do the three drawers. The acid-etched brass handles are in fantastic condition showing only minor tarnishing.
