Condition Details: This stunning Brutalist coffee table has recently undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration process using the same materials and techniques as the factory and the results speak for themselves. The mix of solid and veneered American black walnut has been hand-sanded, refinished and resurfaced with a semi-gloss clearcoat ensuring that this table is ready for a lifetime more of use.
The only noticeable wear on the wood is a few small veneer repairs on one of the lower legs and edges of the table top (both of which can be seen in the detail photos provided). Other than that the walnut composition is in excellent condition with no stains, deep scratches or other wear present whatsoever and the old-growth variegated woodgrains are absolutely arresting in natural light.
The burlwood inlays show no stains or wear whatsoever and the chrome frames surrounding the inlays show only minor signs of tarnishing. This exceptional table is functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use thanks to the extensive restoration process.
