Constructed from solid birch this perfectly retro piece from the highly collectible "Kohinoor" line, which drew heavily on influences from the Art Deco movement, is the epitome of American mid-century modern design and is in 100% original, vintage condition making it ideal for designers and collectors alike.

Founded in 1897 and still producing Modern and Art Deco pieces to this day, Heywood Wakefield has a long-established reputation of excellent American Modern furniture design and fabrication and was one of the leading American furniture makers during the mid century period.

Condition Details: This exceptional Art Deco four drawer dresser, built by Heywood Wakefield in 1952, is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection. There are a few signs of minor wear in the solid birch composition such as scratches, minor areas of discoloration as well as a small water ring in the clearcoat finish which can be seen clearly in the detail photos provided.

With that the said the wood is in overall very good vintage shape and this piece still has so much life left in it. All four drawers open and close with ease.

As purists we strive to leave our pieces in as original condition as possible. However we do offer full carpentry and restoration services and can restore this three-piece set at cost.
