Condition Details: This stunning campaign-style desk has recently undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration. The exterior of the desk has been completely sanded and ebonized in a silky, jet-black stain. There are minor nicks and chips mostly relegated to the bottom corners (which can be seen in the photos provided) but there are no other signs of damage whatsoever to the wood composition. The original ivory leather tops do show some minor signs of wear such as minor scratches, discoloration and other signs of use from over the years (all of which can be seen clearly in the photos provided). All ten drawers open and close with ease as does the additional pull-out writing surface and the interiors have been completely refinished and brought back to their original luster.
