Better known by his stage name Jack Lord, Ryan was a prolific American actor and artist who is perhaps best known for his roles in Hawaii Five-0 and as the first actor to portray the character Felix Leiter in the first two James Bond films (Dr. No and Goldfinger). Lord's first professional art sale was in 1941 to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for his two linoleum cuts entitled "Vermont" and "Fishing Shacks, Block Island".
