About: A minimal, functional and an unassuming statement piece that is a hallmark design by Harry Bertoia for Knoll Associates. Originally designed in 1952.
Constructed from slatted oak (now perfectly distressed and aged) resting on a patian'd welded steel frame. This design was Bertoia’s first product for Knoll, who granted him creative liberties when he joined the company’s studio in 1950.

Condition Details: This extraordinary bench is in 100% original, vintage condition and perfectly patina'd. The solid oak slats show all kinds of wear including scratches, nicks and weathering. The metal frames too are in a perfect patina and show some rust and tarnishing.
