About: As versatile as it is aesthetically captivating the design of this dining table is ultra-clever, with two large drop down leaves that when lifted, extend this table to a size that can comfortably sit eight with a maximum of 10 seats possible. There are two supports that slide out from under the top to support the leaves. The leaves hook on to brass supports and can be easily removed. The legs and leaves are easily detached for easy flat-pack storage or transport. Designed by the visionary Børge Mogensen in 1950 this gorgeous table is a fine example of early Danish Modern design and craftsmanship which would soon after take the world by storm launching a design aesthetic that is still as popular now as it was in the 1960's. At time of publishing this table is one of two available for sale in North America and the only one in original, vintage condition. Make it yours today before it's gone forever.

Condition Details: This gorgeous dining table is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The solid oak composition is in remarkably excellent shape given it's age showing only light surface scratches and nicks as well as only the slightest amount of discoloration (all of which can be seen in the photos provided). With that said there are no gouges, water rings or other damage whatsoever and the oak wood grain is truly mesmerizing in natural light. The drop leaves are fully functional, removeable and easily assembled and disassembled in mere seconds with almost zero effort. The brass hinges are also in excellent condition showing only minor tarnishing. This exquisite dining table is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
