Condition Details: This extraordinary Brutalist sideboard has recently undergone an extensive and transformative restoration process and we love the results! The top has been redone in a genuine thick-cut leather hide and hand-polished to a silky, jet-black shine and shows no inconsistencies than that of a once live animal.
The European walnut frame, base and faces have been painted with top quality automotive single stage, polyurethane paint in a jet-black gloss color. All three drawers open and close with ease as do the hinged doors and the single shelf is fixed.
The intricate diamond-shaped faces covered in a spectacular acid-etched polyurethane paint show only minor signs of vintage wear such as minor nicks and light scratches which can be seen in the detail photos provided.
Overall this one of a kind credenza is in very good condition and is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
