Constructed of a mix of solid and veneered teak this desk features four drawers with intricate inset handles carved by hand out of solid teak blocks with exceptional woodgrains as well as two 'floating', front-facing shelves which offer clever and versatile storage. Though the top does show signs of wear, as can be seen in the photos provided, this desk is still in overall very good condition and is just as functional as the day it left the factory. Condition Details: This exquisite writing desk is in overall very good condition but it does how signs of wear. There are signs of repairs made previously by past owners though we have left this desk in it's as is condition. The teak veneer on the desk top does show gouges, veneer repairs and scratches all of which can be seen in the photos provided. With that said the teak composition is still in overall good condition. The solid teak legs show no deep scratches gouges or stains whatsoever. All four drawers open and close with ease and feature intricate inset handles carved out of solid teak slabs that show mesmerizing woodgrains. The front side of the desk features two floating storage shelves for ample, clever storage. The desk still retains the original maker's mark on the underside of the desk top.
