Condition Details: This exquisite set of Model 317 dining chairs by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mölgaard Nielsen has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration process and we love the results! The mix of solid and veneered teak composition has been hand-sanded and refinished showing only light nicks, minor chips and small scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided) but showing no gouges, stains or other damage whatsoever.
The seats, hand-sewn in a fabulous caramel-colored Italian leather hide, shows no damage whatsoever and is in new, never-sat-in condition showing only the wear of a once living animal (IE ranch brands, scars etc.). All seats feature new support straps with light batting for maximum comfort and longevity.
This extraordinary set of 317 chairs is incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a literal lifetime more of use thanks to their recent restoration process.
