The devil is truly in the details in this piece. The interior is beautifully finished, even the inner doors are matchbook-veneered. To add extra detail to the design, the legs are pulled slightly under the sideboard to account for skirting, making it possible to place the piece close to the wall. The two doors open and close via a set of magnetic pop in and out fasteners. Even the drawers are adjustable allowing the owner maximum storage capacity. Recently restored this piece is ideal for designers and collectors searching for an authentic, Danish-made case piece that is ready for a literal lifetime more of use. Make it yours today before it's truly gone forever.
Origin: Denmark
Proof: Signed
Period: 1960s
Material: Rosewood | Brass
State: Full Restoration
Condition Details: This petite Danish-made credenza has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration process. The mix of solid and veneered rosewood composition has been hand-sanded and refinished however some signs of wear remain such as small veneer repairs as well as some surface scratches and small pressure dings that remain after sanding (all shown in detail in the photos provided). With that said the rosewood still remains in overall very good shape and the woodgrains remain stunning in natural light.
The two hinged doors have been fabricated to open and close with ease via new magnetic locking devices as the keys, which originally functioned as pulls, have been lost to time. Each of the two shelves are adjustable as are the four storage drawers.
This alluring low profile credenza is ultra-functional, structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use thanks to it's recent restoration process.
