Often mistaken for the Model 161 bench by Hans Olsen (for Bramin, this exquisite modular seating group by Gerald McCabe in naturally stained walnut and original upholstery is as rare as it is visually striking. In 100% original, vintage condition and featuring a low walnut base with raised edges and round, tapered legs and fits two chairs all in original multi-patterned Jack Lenor Larsen attributed flame stitch upholstery and leaving space for a lamp. Ideal for both museum and studio settings this incredibly rare two-seater can blend seamlessly with a multitude of design backdrops from MCM to Modern to Contemporary to Minimalism. We currently have this two-seater with matching three-seater bench in stock and at time of publishing these are the only bench models by McCabe available for sale in North America so when they're gone, they're gone forever. Condition Details: This exquisite three seater bench is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The bench top (covered by seat) has two water ring marks (which can be seen in the photos provided). The legs also show some discoloration and too can be seen in the photos. With that said there are no gouges or deep scratches whatsoever. The upholstery has been extremely well kept and looks wonderful for its age.
