The hand-woven caning on the seats and backs are warm in color and see-through nature making the chair itself simultaneously understated and seductive. The curved legs and bentwood frames are also together audaciously minimal and elegant with exquisite old-growth woodgrains that are absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. With very few of these models available in walnut (most were made in beech) and fewer still available in a complete dining set of six chairs these exceptional "Prague" chairs won't last long. Condition Details: This elegant set of dining chairs by Josef Frank/Hoffman are in 100% original, vintage condition and have aged to perfection! The solid walnut frames are in excellent shape showing only minor nicks and light surface scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the photos provided) but showing no gouges, stains or other damage whatsoever. The original caning is also in superb original condition showing no tears, rips or stains whatsoever and all six chairs are entirely weight-bearing.
