Condition Details: This versatile secretary desk has recently undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration process. The teak composition does show some signs of vintage wear including scratches, chips and veneer repairs (all of which can be seen in the detail photos provided). Given the amount of damage on the piece we decided to refinish the exterior and ebonize with a silky, jet black stain that perfectly off-sets the natural teak woodgrains. The desk top opens and closes with ease and measures 27.5" in depth providing ample space for computers or as a writing surface. All three drawers open and close and the lock located on the top drawer as well as on the drop-down table top function and include the skeleton key. The hinged door located with in the desk opens to expose a mirror for makeup application and conceals yet another storage compartment behind when closed.
