Condition Details: This gorgeous desk chair has recently undergone a partial restoration process featuring new upholstery. The solid black walnut frame and legs are in 100% original, vintage condition and shows some some minor signs of wear such as nicks, scratches and small gouges on two of the legs (all of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided). With that said the wood is in overall very good vintage condition.
As purists, we strive to leave all of our pieces in as original condition as possible. However we do offer restoration services and a full carpentry shop which can professionally sand and refinish the walnut included in the sale price. If this option interests you please message us prior to checkout as this service can require up to 12-14 business days of lead time.
The upholstery, redone in a fabulous kind-to-the-touch yellow felt, is in new, never-sat-in condition and also features new medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity.
