Condition Details: Save for a minor veneer repair this extraordinary coffee table is in original, vintage condition! The mix of solid walnut and veneered birdseye maple are in overall very good vintage condition showing only a few small chips in the veneer, minor surface scratches, minor discoloration on one leg and the aforementioned veneer repair (all of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided). What that said, the mix of walnut and maple wood composition is in overall excellent vintage condition.
The drop-leaf functions exactly as designed via a set of two locking hinges and is weight-bearing. The fixed shelf built-in under the table top has a small divider making it the perfect place to store books and magazines.
