Condition Details: This gorgeous set of iconic Model 42 dining chairs has recently undergone a partial restoration process featuring new upholstery. The solid Burmese teak frames and legs are in 100% original, vintage condition and show some some minor signs of wear such as nicks and surface scratches (all of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided). With that said the wood is in overall very good vintage condition.
As purists, we strive to leave all of our pieces in as original condition as possible. However we do offer restoration services and a full carpentry shop which can professionally sand and refinish the teak on each chair included in the sale price. If this option interests you please message us prior to checkout as this service can require up to 12-14 days of lead time.
The upholstery, redone in a fabulous genuine Italian leather hide with character-rich olive tones, is in new never-sat-in condition and also features new medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity. The leather shows only the wear of a once living animal (ranch brands, scars etc.).
This stunning set of Model 42 dining chairs is incredibly comfortable, structurally solid and ready for a literal lifetime more of use thanks to their recent restoration process.
