The tambour doors that roll seamlessly into the back, a rare technique that few can produce effectively, is pleasing to the eye and functionally ideal. The interior is beautifully finished, with rolling shelves on each side - perfect for media and stereo equipment - and a middle section with two pull-out box joint trays for added storage. To add extra detail to the design, the legs are pulled slightly under the sideboard to account for skirting, making it possible to place the piece close to the wall. The mix of solid and veneered Burmese teak is in remarkably excellent shape showing some minor surface scratches and nicks (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided) but showing no gouges or stains whatsoever.
Both drawers open and close with ease as does this exceptionally designed and crafted set of tambour doors. The two rolling shelves function with ease and are perfect for media equipment.
