Famous for his table-centered approach to design, which came from his belief that the dining table was the true center of the home, Wright's designs have become iconic and harken back to the heyday of American Mid-Century Modern Design. Partnering with the American Conant Ball Furniture Co, which is renowned for it's work with solid American Maple, the two produced this ultra-rare dining table in an out of the ordinary solid American Black Walnut. The table boasts completely refinished surfaces and it's rich woodgrains are truly mesmerizing in natural light. Comfortably sitting six guests, this table can easily accommodate eight with the installation of the single extension leaf. Condition Details: This exceptional dining table has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration. Due to it's solid walnut composition, this piece was a prime candidate for a full restoration. Every square inch of the piece has been sanded and refinished to the highest industry standard. The entirety of the walnut composition is in excellent restored condition showing no scratches, stains or discoloration whatsoever and the woodgrains are truly stunning in natural light. The single leaf easily installs, latches tight and can be removed in seconds. This exceptional dining table is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for literally a lifetime more of use.
