Painstakingly hand-cut, hand-tooled and hand-shaped the full-grain leather upholstery has been artfully crafted as an homage to the late great Adnet.
An icon of luxurious French Modernism, Jacques Adnet was born in 1900 and went on to become director of the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He believed in the functional aspect of furniture combined with geometrical simplicity. Jacques Adnet was inspired by pre-classical styles and was well acquainted with traditional furniture. The hand-cut and hand-tooled, full-grain leather seats and backrests have been meticulously shaped and installed and show no damage or wear whatsoever.
