Indeed the Brasilia line is one of the most direct translations of architecture to furnishings and this is plain to see with the sculpted walnut arches that are inseparable from the arches of the Palácio do Planalto designed by the incomparable architect Oscar Niemeyer. Featuring solid and veneered walnut with exceptional old-growth woodgrains, gorgeous brass handles (that too reflect the breathtaking architecture of Brazil's capital) and a clever flip-flap set of extensions it's no wonder why the Brasilia line continues to captivate collectors to this day. The mix of solid and veneered walnut composition is in remarkably excellent shape showing only a small gouge (less than .5" in size) on the bottom left side but showing no deep scratches, chips or stains whatsoever and the woodgrains are absolutely stunning in natural light. The single drawer opens and closes with ease as to the two hinged-doors. This splendid bar is just about as good as it gets for collectors searching for an authentic, 100% original Brasilia piece and is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for lifetimes more of use.
