Condition Details: This exceptional ottoman by George Mulhauser for Plycraft has recently undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration process. The walnut plywood has been completely refinished and shows some veneer repairs which can be seen in the detail photos provided. The steel frame has been sandblasted and powder coated in a flat black paint in accordance with the original color.
The upholstery, redone in a fabulous thick-cut genuine leather hide and dyed a vintage mustard yellow, is in superb showroom condition showing only the imperfections of a once live animal. The footrest swivels 360 degrees without issue and is the perfect pairing to the Iconic Plycraft 'Mr. Chair'.
